Jak ovládat Maca přes iPhone s Remote Buddy

How to Control a Mac Using an iPhone and Remote Buddy

Instructions on how to control your computer using an iPhone and Remote Buddy.

These are instructions on how to use your iPhone and Remote Buddy to control your computer.
Step One
Download Remote Buddy to your desktop from here
Step Two
Double click the file RemoteBuddy.dmg on your desktop.
Step Three
Drag the Remote Buddy onto the Applications Folder icon.

Step Four
Double click the Applications folder icon then double click the Remote Buddy application icon.

Step Five
If prompted click Open to confirm you want to open the dmg.

Step Six
To accept the License agreement click the Accept button.

Step Seven
If you have a license or would like to purchase Remote Buddy click Purchase or enter license. To try Remote Buddy click the Try button.

Step Eight
If you would like to install support for USB and Bluetooth Remotes click the Install now button.

Step Nine
To proceed with the installation click Proceed.

Step Ten
You will be asked to enter an administrator username and password. Do this then click the OK button.

Step Eleven
If you would like to pair a bluetooth remote click Continue with pairing a Bluetooth remote, otherwise click the Done button.

Step Twelve
Select Preferences… from the Remote Buddy Menu at the top left of the screen.

Step Thirteen
From the Preferences Window select the AJAX Remote tab.

Step Fourteen
Check the box to Enable AJAX Remote.

Step Fifteen
You will notice that a bunch of new preferences will appear. The default port number is 8888. Make sure you enter a password in the Require password field. At the bottom of the window there is a list of interfaces that urls that you can use to access remote buddy. It is these urls that you will use to access your computer from your iPhone.

Step Sixteen
On your iPhone press to launch Safari from the SpringBoard.

Step Seventeen
In the address bar enter one of the urls you were shown in Step Fifteen then press Go. In my case the url was: http://iclarifieds-macbook.local:8888

Step Eighteen
You will be asked for a password. Enter the password you set in Step Fifteen then press Login.

Step Nineteen
You will be taken to the Remote Buddy Launcher Menu. Here you can access the Remote, Trackpad, Keyboard, Menu, Music, Camera, and Movies on your computer.

Step Twenty
Press to select Remote from the Launcher Menu to access the Remote Control.

If you press the Menu button you will see a legend appear on the computer’s screen.

Step Twenty One
Press the Launcher button at the top left of screen to return to the Remote Buddy Launcher Menu. Press Trackpad to access the Trackpad control.

You can tap on the camera symbol to view your desktop.

Step Twenty Two
Press the Launcher button at the top left of screen to return to the Remote Buddy Launcher Menu. Press Keyboard to access the Keyboard control.

Enter the words you would like to type then press the Done button.

Finally press the Type text button to have those words typed out on the computer.

Step Twenty Three
Press the Launcher button at the top left of screen to return to the Remote Buddy Launcher Menu. Press Menu to access the Menu control.
You will see a list of the applications on your computer. Select the application you would like to control.

Press the Activate Behavior button to activate the application.

Now you may Bring to front, Show / Hide, Quit, or Force quit the application.

Step Twenty Four
Press the Launcher button at the top right of screen to return to the Remote Buddy Launcher Menu. Press Music to access the Music control.

From the Music screen you can press the Library button at the top left to access your iTunes Music Library.

You can select the Controls tab at the bottom of the screen to view the playback controls.

You can press the Rating tab at the bottom of the screen to view the rating controls.

You can press the Speakers tab at the bottom of the screen to view the speakers output.

You can press the Playlist tab at the bottom of the screen to view the current playlist.

You can press the Search tab at the bottom of the screen to search your music.

Step Twenty Five
Press the Launcher button at the top left of screen to return to the Remote Buddy Launcher Menu. Press Camera to access the iSight webcam controls.
Using this feature you can activate your iSight and even take a photo!

Step Twenty Six
Press the Launcher button at the top left of screen to return to the Remote Buddy Launcher Menu. Press Movies to access the Movies controller.
Here you will see a list of the movies having a VIDEO_TS folder on your computer.

NOTE***: If you wish to access Remote Buddy’s features then you will have to forward the port 8888 to your computer. You can find instructions on how to do this here.
